How we collect, use, store and protect your personal information.
RAWC Property Pty Ltd (ACN 624 857 852) as trustee for the RW Unit Trust (ABN 57 131 493 056), trading as PPG Commercial, a division of Prestige Property Group Realty (PPG Realty) ("PPG Commercial", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to our commercial sales, leasing, property management and advisory services, and to this website.
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
We only collect sensitive information (for example, criminal history) where it's required or permitted by law, or with your consent.
We usually collect information directly from you: when you enquire, inspect a property, sign an agency agreement, apply for a lease, make an offer or fill in a form on our website. We may also collect it from others where it's reasonable to do so, for example from vendors, landlords, other agents, solicitors and conveyancers, government and public registers (such as NSW Land Registry Services, ASIC and councils), identity verification providers, and referees you nominate.
If you don't give us the information we need, we may not be able to act for you, process an application or proceed with a transaction. You can deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym for general enquiries, but usually not for a transaction.
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose it, where relevant, to:
PPG Commercial does not store your personal information overseas. However, some third-party providers we use, such as Google, Meta, and email or cloud software services, may store or process data outside Australia. Where we use these providers, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
We may send you property listings, market updates and information about our services. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying "STOP" to an SMS, or contacting us. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth). You may still receive messages we need to send to provide our services.
Our website may use cookies, Google Analytics (to understand how visitors use the site) and the Meta Pixel (to measure and tailor our Facebook and Instagram advertising). These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser details and pages visited, and Google and Meta handle this data under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage Meta advertising through your Meta ad preferences. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. See our Notices and Terms for more.
We hold information in secure electronic systems and, where needed, in paper files at our office. We protect it with access controls, passwords and reputable software providers. We keep records for as long as the law requires: for at least three years under NSW agency record-keeping rules, and seven years for AML/CTF records. After that, we securely destroy or de-identify the information. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the OAIC under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact our Privacy Officer (details below). We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. There's no fee to make a request, though we may charge a reasonable cost for providing access. If we refuse a request, we'll explain why in writing.
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer in writing. We'll acknowledge your complaint, investigate, and respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
